Hey, I’m Emma, a specialised paediatric speech therapist, feeding expert, and the face andfounder of Joyfull Mealtimes.
More than justa specifically designed collection of fabulous silicone feeding tools, JoyfullMealtimes is a carefully curated community intended to enable and assist caregivers and clinicians in guiding little ones through their mealtime adventures.
As a mum and professional in this space, I am passionate about advocating for families, reminding them that there is no one-size-fits-all recipe and educating and empowering them as they navigate the sometimes-stressful mealtime rollercoaster. You are not alone …I promise!
Whilst we think our collection of mealtime tools is fabulous (and so do our customers … yay), they are only one piece of the Joyfull puzzle. Ditching the stigma that fussy eating reflects parenting or behaviour, Joyfull is on a mission to illuminate the complexities surrounding initiating solids, food rejection, puree artistry and picky eating and offer judgement-free guidance, support and solutions.
As parents, we aim to have a happy and healthy child (whilst protecting our own mental wellness, right?!) I’m acutely aware of the myriad of emotions that can accompany these mealtime experiences. The Joyfull goal is to become a prime source of support during the feeding journey, offering the tools to nurture children towards a positive lifetime connection with food.
With practical, bite-sized advice and tips, our goal is to arm you with the support, knowledge and practices to make informed decisions and confidently move forward on your child's mealtime journey at your own pace, sans the pressure and heightened emotions that can come hand in hand with feed times.
